Worked with Adams Express Co., 1883-8; then with E. B. Presston & Co. and the Revere Rubber Co., 1888-96; with the Manhattan Rubber Mfg. Co. since 1896. Opened store for the company in Chicago, 1900, and since continued as manager. Vice President Elkhart, Indiana, Brass Mfg. Co. since 1908. Progressive Republican. Protestant. Member of the Ohio Society of Chicago. Clubs: Chicago Athletic, South Shore Country Club, Midiothian Country Club, Kenmore. Recreation: foreign travel, golf. Home: 5036 Woodlawn Avenue.
