Description: 18) View of the front of the Cabaret Theater. Frank Lloyd Wright designed the Music Stand in the mid-1940s for Taliesin. According to the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation Archives, this is one of six quartet stands that are Wright-designed that are known to exist. There are two at Taliesin, this one at Taliesin West, one is at the Dallas Public Library, one at the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library in Austin, Texas, and one in the Zimmerman House which is a variation of the "design matured with a more structurally sound construction than its predecessors." But we have located a seventh at the Shavin Residence in Tennessee. Also pictured are four seats. The red hexagonal backed chairs are plentiful at Taliesin. The piano sets in a cove specifically designed for it. Set of 25 color 35mm slides of Taliesin West. Text on slide: "14. Oct 69 H5." Text on verso: "Ektachrome Transparency. Processed by Kodak."
